5 LITTLE MONKEYS FINGER PUPPET PILLOW

Another finger puppet pillow for the kids at Sacred Heart Children's Hospital.  First and foremost, thank you Jill of Homemade by Jill for the finger puppet templates.  They are so easy and so very cute.  Jill has lots of wonderful templates for her quiet book on her website as well.  Check out all her tutorials.  I use her cozy car caddy pattern for the hospital and the nurses are asking for more!

For the tree, I just drew it and added the holders for the puppets.  On the back is a pocket to hold the monkeys and alligator when the child is finished playing.  Why a pillow?  The children can hold the pillow when they need to be comforted and play with the puppets while waiting for procedures or having to sit in their bed.  I always use fleece and felt!

Do you remember the words?
Five little monkeys
Sitting in a tree
Teasing Mr. Crocodile,
"You can't catch me."
Along came Mr. Crocodile,
Quiet as can be (SNAP)

(Recite until you're at one little monkey and at the end add)
No more little monkeys
Sitting in a tree
