I'M IN LOVE WITH FRANKENSTEIN! & Giveaway

(UPDATE:  YOU CAN GET HER PATTERNS AT 25% OFF THIS WEEKEND ONLY 8/25 & 26.  USE CODE SUMMER25.)

And you will be too!  Last week I told you we might have a giveaway from Haley at GandGPatterns on Etsy of her wonderful Frankenstein softie PDF pattern.  She donated this wonderful pattern to me to use for the kids at the hospital and to review and she is giving another PDF Frankenstein pattern for the giveaway.

Remember the Superhero dolls I made last week?  I had just as much fun, if not more, making "Frank" as I call him.  Again I used fleece and wool felt and some cotton for his legs.  Her directions were super easy to follow and her photos are clear and easy to see.  Start to finish - 2 hours!  I traced the smaller pieces like the spider, eyes, and 'stitches' onto freezer paper and ironed it to the wool felt (be careful if you're not using wool felt as it might melt).  Ironing the design onto wool felt makes it so much easier to cut out and you can get a huge roll of freezer paper at the supermarket for about $6.  (I think my cat in the photo wants to eat him!)
I made Frank's face a bit different because I like silly faces for the dolls for the hospital.  What I love about Haley's patterns, besides the fact they are so easy, is that they not only are just the cutest dolls but can be used by the kids as a small pillow.  And if they don't feel like playing, they can set them in their bed and have a friend.
Haley also has a cute Vampire Dracula doll for Halloween and a Werewolf doll and yup, I'm going to buy those too!
So, Haley is giving one of you a PDF pattern of "Frank".  All you have to do is visit her store and tell me what pattern you like the most.

If you want additional entries, join her Facebook page and this blog.  I'm using Rafflecopter to make it easier.  Runs from Sunday, August 19 to Sunday, August 26.
